“Engurhesi” and “Voith Hydro” sighned an agreement

The Chairman of Ltd. “Engurhesi” Mr. Levan Mebonia and the Head of the German Company “Voith Hydro” Mr. Herbert Verdge sighned an agreement on the rehabilitation of #1 and #5 Enguri HPP units on 15th Jule in the Ministry of Energy of Georgia.

Deputy Minister Archil Nikolaishvili attended the ceremony.

The rehabililtation project works on Enguri HPP units have been led by the German Company “Voith Hydro” since 2003.

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) allocated the grant for 20 EUR mln for the rehabilitation of the #1 and #5 units
