Four companies have participated in the announced tender to procure construction materials

 An international tender to procure materials for the construction of gas main pipeline Poti -Senaki section took place at GOGC today. Four Companies - SOCAR Neftigastikint, Truboizolcomplecr Ltd, STEMCOR and New Metal Georgia participated in the Tender. The documents submitted by the participants were checked to verify their compliance with the tender requirements.

Following the evaluation of the offers made by the participants the commission shall announce a winner in the coming days.

GOGC has received the project design permit on construction of Poti-Senaki 30 km section of Zestaponi-Poti gas main pipeline in April. A newly constructed pipeline will supply gas to Poti, Senaki and Khobi cities as well as Black Sea recreational zone and LNG terminal.  The design of the project which shall be launched in fall has been designed in house at GOGC.

The project is planned to be implemented in frames of the USAID grant allocated for the Government of Georgia. An international tender to procure pipelines was announced on June 14, 2010.
